The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the Taiwan MOFA Scholarship for the 2026 Academic Year. This esteemed scholarship programme offers an incredible opportunity for individuals to further their education in Taiwan. Students can pursue Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral degrees. In addition, the Ministry wishes to advise that the Language Training Program is optional, and students need to provide documentation that they have either applied to a Mandarin Program or an English taught Degree Program.

 

Recipients are responsible for all expenses during their stay in Taiwan which can usually be covered with the monthly stipend. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must submit the following documents for consideration:

· A completed MOFA Scholarship application form

· A photocopy of a valid passport

· A certified copy of the highest diploma earned and academic transcripts (certified by the Ministry of Education)

· Proof of application to an educational institution or its affiliated Mandarin Training Center

Submission Deadline:

 

All completed applications, along with the required documents, must be submitted to Ms. Carol Boddie at the Ministry of Education no later than 27 February 2026 to facilitate onward processing.
