Basseterre, Saint Kitts (11 September 2026) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis joins with the United States and the wider international community in solemn memory of the lives lost during the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City on September 11, 2001.

On this solemn occasion, we honour the victims and acknowledge the families and loved ones who continue to carry the weight of that loss. We also commend the selflessness of the first responders, emergency personnel and ordinary citizens who rendered necessary aid.

Twenty-five years later, Saint Kitts and Nevis stands in remembrance and continues to reiterate the importance of peace, solidarity and our shared humanity.
