The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to inform the public that applications are now open for the Türkiye
Scholarships Programme for the 2026 academic intake.

The Ministry received an official communication from the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye advising that Türkiye
Scholarships is coordinated by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and is a public
higher education scholarship programme administered by the Republic of Türkiye for international students.

Türkiye Scholarships aims to support students in accessing education at international standards while promoting
equality of opportunity. The programme also seeks to strengthen cooperation between Türkiye and partner countries
and to contribute to regional and global development through education.

Applicants are advised to note the official application period opened on 10th January 2026 and will close on 20th
February 2026. Applications are open for undergraduate programmes and graduate programmes.

Interested applicants are encouraged to review eligibility criteria, required documents, programme options, and the
application process via the official Türkiye Scholarships website at www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr.

Applicants should ensure they submit applications only through the official platform and pay close attention to
deadlines and document requirements.

The Ministry urges applicants to confirm all programme details directly from the official Türkiye Scholarships
website and apply early to avoid last-minute technical issues close to the deadline.

For general guidance, members of the public may contact the Ministry’s relevant division responsible for
scholarships and training during normal working hours.
